‘Bamboo’ hair care brand adds Asian twist to its line of products
A Bamboo hair care line is coming to America.
The company, which launched last year in the U.S., is making a comeback after a decade-long hiatus, as the brand’s new line of Asian-inspired products is poised to take hold among Asian consumers.
Its latest offering is the bamboo-based hair care oil that was recently launched in the United Kingdom.
Bamboo’s new product line features a wide range of products ranging from shampoo to conditioners, and features an array of products to treat oily and blemished hair.
In an interview with The Washington Times, the company’s co-founder, Rongxiang Chen, told the paper the new line is a big boost for the company.
Chen said the company is hoping that Asian customers will be more open to the new products and will start to see the value in bamboo.
“We want to make sure that Asian consumers who use bamboo do not miss out on bamboo products,” she said.
According to Chen, the brand will also expand to a U.K. store, where it will have a full line of bamboo products.
Aspen, which has been owned by a Chinese company for over 100 years, recently announced a partnership with the company to sell bamboo-infused products to U.I.S. consumers.
The new line will also be available in a U and E version in the next few months.
I really think this is a huge win for Aspen and I’m very excited for what the new bamboo products will be,” said Janae Hwang, an Aspen alumna.
Hwang is also excited about the new lines.
“I just think Asian consumers are always a big part of the bamboo product landscape and I think it’s great to see that the bamboo products are now available in the market. “
They’re just so diverse,” she added.
